Feedback from patients at BMI Albyn Hospital in Aberdeen has shown that 98.5% of those who received care there would recommend the hospital to their family and friends.
In addition, 96.1% agree that the quality of their nursing care was very good or excellent and 93.4% would apply the same high rating to the standard of their accommodation.
The figures for the independent hospital on Albyn Place were the findings of the independent survey operator Quality Health, which analysed responses of 3064 patients who responded to a questionnaire between 1 January 2017 and 31 December 2017.

Over the past year, the hospital has seen a number of developments including the establishment of a specialist Sports Injury Clinic, a Sleep & Snoring Service and the General Medical Admissions Service.
In 2018, the hospital is looking forward to expanding its Ophthalmic and Oncology services as well as working closely with the community and a local children’s charity.
Following a recent visit the hospital has also received ‘very good’ feedback by the independent regular; Health Improvement Scotland.
The independent survey also showed high percentage scores across all assessed criteria, with ‘very good’ or ‘excellent’ for physiotherapy 94.8%, pharmacy 88.1%, and catering 88.2%. In addition, 95.7% said that their overall impression of diagnostic imaging was very good or excellent.
Quality Health also provides the same survey analysis and questions across the NHS.
