What treatments do you offer?

At BMI Bath Clinic we offer a wide variety of surgical and non-surgical procedures. A full list of our orthopaedic treatments can be found here.

We also hold special clinics for certain areas of orthopaedics:

Some of the most common treatments we perform are:

Knee replacement surgery in Bath

If you’re in pain and find that non-surgical treatments are no longer working, you might be recommended a knee replacement.

This is where your damaged joint is removed and replaced with a new one, often called an implant or prosthesis. Successful knee replacement surgery will reduce your pain and should give you increased mobility and flexibility in the joint.

Hip replacement surgery

Hip problems often occur as a result of degenerative conditions, such as osteoarthritis. Hip replacement surgery may be suggested if you are dealing with persistent pain in your hip joint that isn’t getting better with non-surgical options.

The surgery involves removing the damaged hip and replacing it with an artificial one, known as a prosthesis or implant. It should reduce your pain and allow you to move your joint more freely.

Foot & ankle treatment

If you have pain, swelling or stiffness in your foot or ankle, our orthopaedic team can help to diagnose the source of your problem and put together a bespoke treatment plan.

Common treatments include:

Shoulder surgery

The most common reasons for shoulder surgery are pain and stiffness due to arthritis or sporting injuries.

At BMI Bath Clinic we offer procedures including:
