Respiratory Medicine

Respiratory medicine involves the management of diseases that occur in the upper respiratory tract (the nose, pharynx and larynx) and the lower respiratory tract (trachea, bronchi and lungs).

At BMI Carrick Glen Hospital we offer regular appointments with Consultant Respiratory Physicians, Dr Anur Guhan and Dr Sudipta Roy who can assess and treat a wide range of conditions including chronic coughs, COPD, asthma, lung disease, breathlessness and allergies.

Our Consultants have access to a wide range of diagnostic services including biopsies, blood tests, lung function tests, bronchoscopies, ECGs and x-rays should they be necessary to aid diagnosis.
