At Goring Hall Hospital in Worthing, West Sussex, we offer a variety of hand and wrist surgeries, depending on your diagnosis. These include:
Hand surgery for Dupuytren’s disease starting from £3,100*
Dupuytren’s disease occurs when one or more of your fingers point towards your palm. However, this can be corrected through hand surgery to straighten your affected fingers. Your hand surgery for Dupuytren’s disease could use a surgical incision or a needle to loosen and straighten your affected fingers.
Carpal tunnel release surgery starting from £1,825*
Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is a condition where a nerve that travels through the front of your wrist becomes compressed. This can cause symptoms such as pain and numbness in your fingers or hands which, in turn, can impact your grip and ability to coordinate your fingers when performing certain activities such as typing or playing the piano. Carpal tunnel release surgery can relieve these symptoms by providing the nerves in your hand with more space to move.
Trigger finger release surgery starting from £2,875*
Stenosing tenosynovitis, more commonly referred to as trigger finger, can create pain and stiffness when you try to move your finger or thumb. If left untreated, this condition can make it difficult for you to completely bend or straighten your affected finger or thumb. But trigger finger release surgery can restore movement to your affected finger or thumb, and it is rare for the problem to reoccur following surgery.
