Mr Panos Thomas elected as President of British Orthopaedic Sports Trauma and Arthroscopy Association

Our warmest congratulations go to Mr Panos Thomas, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at BMI Hendon Hospital, who has been elected President of the British Orthopaedic Sports Trauma and Arthroscopy Association (BOSTAA).

The group – who provide a forum for the presentation of basic research, advances in clinical practice and the results of surgical procedures pertaining to orthopaedic sports trauma – also aims to improve the care offered by orthopaedic surgeons to the victims of injuries sustained during sport.

The election took place at the association’s Annual General Meeting earlier in October 2016 and Mr Thomas will hold his new role for the next two years.

“I’m delighted to be elected as President of BOSTAA. I look forward to continuing our work to help improve the outcomes and overall care of those who are injured following their passion by playing the sport they love” said Mr Thomas.
