Specialist cancer care centre
Our highly skilled consultants include oncologists and haematologists who work collaboratively with surgeons, radiologists, pathologists and General Practitioners to provide a unified approach to cancer care.
Our team are on hand to provide appropriate support and advice for patients when they need it most. We will work together with you to develop a personalised treatment plan that is tailored to you, your unique needs and diagnosis. Together, our team has a wealth of knowledge and experience in understanding what it takes to provide care to each individual patient and their specific illness. Every patient is important to us and we endeavour to build strong relationships and take the time necessary to support each patient throughout their journey.
All patients are offered treatment in comfortable, light and airy private rooms, with family members and friends always welcome. Lunch and refreshments for both patients and visitors are available with a selection of meals for you to choose from.
The Chiltern Cancer Centre also offers free parking, Wi-Fi, newspapers and magazines for patients receiving treatment.
Before starting treatment, you will be offer a pre-chemotherapy assessment appointment with one of our specialist nurses to discuss your treatment plan.
Our cancer centre is registered with and regularly inspected by Care Quality Commission (CQC) the independent regulator of health and social care in England.
Our centre provides oncological treatments for a wide range of cancers including: breast, bowel, bladder, prostate, gynaecology and other tumour sites.
