Breast Surgery

Breast Reduction Surgery

Breast reduction surgery, otherwise known as mammoplasty, involves removing breast tissue and excess skin to reduce the overall size, shape and weight of the breasts. Quite often patients complain about back ache and pain because of the weight of their breasts and will frequently request for their breasts to be reduced. It can also help women feel more in proportion and confident with their body.

Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation surgery, involves enlarging the breasts with breast implants (usually round or teardrop in shape). A breast augmentation can be performed either on top of or underneath the muscle, and the consultant will advise on the most appropriate technique.

Breast Lift

A breast uplift, or otherwise known as a mastopexy, is where excess skin and breast tissue is removed and the breast is reshaped to a more uplifted position. If the patient requires more volume a breast implant can also be inserted into the breast to create fuller appearance. Women often lose volume and experience sagging breast following pregnancy or from excessive weight loss.

Liposuction

Liposuction is a method of removing excess fat from the body and contour into a slimmer profile. Liposuction can be performed on many areas of the body such as the thighs, buttocks, abdomen, arms, chin and flanks. A small cannula is inserted into the skin and fat is removed from the designated area under the control of the consultant. It can also be used in collaboration with other procedures such as a tummy tuck, or a fat transfer to other parts of the body.

Tummy Tuck Surgery

A tummy tuck, or otherwise known as an abdominoplasty or abdo, is a procedure that removes excess skin and tissue from the abdomen, as well as tightening the muscles in that area. It is commonly performed on women post pregnancy and child birth and also on both men and women following excessive weight loss, to correct sagging skin. The scar is usually positioned so that this can be hidden by underwear or swimwear.

Rhinoplasty

A rhinoplasty, also known as a nose job is a very popular procedure amongst both men and women which involves changing the shape and size of the nose. It can smooth out humps and also change the size and shape of the nostrils. Sometimes this procedure can be combined with a septoplasty which helps to straighten any abnormalities with the nasal septum.

Face Lift

A face lift is a cosmetic surgery procedure to correct sagging skin around the jawline and chin caused by the ageing process or excessive weight loss. A facelift will help to tighten and lift the skin to create a more youthful looking result. This is often combined with a neck lift and blepharoplasty which can help reduce sagging skin over the eyelids and/or under the eyes (eye bags), frequently caused by ageing.
