At Edgbaston Hospital we offer fast access to diagnosis and imaging for a wide range of conditions.
We are fully compliant with standards required by the Care Quality Commission and our fully qualified radiographers have use of some of the most modern technology available.
Examinations usually take between 20 and 40 minutes but not all of that time is taken up by actual scanning. In order to enhance the image of certain parts of the body a contrast agent may be given orally or intravenously. Patients may, therefore, be required to arrive an hour before their examination time so that this can be administered.

Paying for treatment
All patients are welcome – whether you choose to pay directly for your treatment yourself or by using private medical insurance.We arrange direct settlement with insurance companies, but patients should pre-check their level of cover.
