BMI Edgbaston helps the homeless this Christmas

Edgbaston homeless Christmas collection

Staff at BMI The Edgbaston Hospital have been very busy over the festive period, collecting supplies for Birmingham Homeless Outreach.

It was an opportunity to make a real difference, and support a very worthy cause. Members of staff rummaged deep inside their wardrobes, lofts, closets and cupboards to find items they could donate to those less fortunate.

Donations included a variety of clothes, hats, scarves, gloves, sleeping bags, blankets and toiletries in the hope that they will help to make homeless people in Birmingham warmer and happier this Christmas.

Clare Austin, Executive Director at BMI The Edgbaston Hospital said, “It’s been really touching to see the generosity of our staff, Christmas can be a difficult time of year for some and we’re so thrilled our contributions will help so many local homeless people.”
