Staff from BMI Edgbaston take part in Pretty Muddy 5K Race for Life

Edgbaston Mud Run

Staff from BMI The Edgbaston Hospital took part in the Pretty Muddy 5K Race for Life in aid of Cancer Research at Worcester Racecourse on Saturday 15th July 2017. Eight members of staff combatted the 5 kilometres of muddy obstacles, some worse than others. The mud slide was perhaps the worst one at the very end which our ladies had to face before they could cross the finishing line. Staff from BMI The Droitwich Spa Hospital also participated for a collective BMI Healthcare charity experience!

Although some were a little hesitant to participate the camaraderie and team work really shone through and the team would like to say a
big thank you to everyone who supported them.

Sam Tolliday, Director of Clinical Services at BMI The Edgbaston Hospital who also participated in the fun run said: “It was fantastic to participate in such a great event, and for such a worthy cause too. Cancer strikes a chord to so many people in one way or another and we were all so proud to say we’d taken part. We’re now looking for the next challenge!”
