Executive Directors Response: CQC rating The Huddersfield Hospital
Sarah Agnew, Executive Director, has responded that we are obviously disappointed to receive an overall rating of “requires improvement”, but that it was important for us to receive the valuable feedback that the CQC inspection has given.
We are committed to the care that we offer to our patients, and will always look to learn and develop our services. We were pleased to hear that the inspectors found our hospital to be caring one, giving a rating of “good” in all of these areas. However most importantly, we value the feedback on areas where we can improve.
Following the inspection a number of projects have been implemented, such as, increasing the number of clinical sinks, replacing carpet with laminate flooring and we will continue to invest in developing our hospital further.
