We offer a range of foot and ankle treatments at The Huddersfield Hospital, including:
Forefoot surgery for one foot starting from £5,163*
Surgery can be used to treat a variety of forefoot problems, many of which are caused by arthritis. These include bunions, claw toe, hammer toe and hallux rigidus (a stiff large toe joint). Forefoot surgery will be recommended if your surgeon thinks it could reduce pain, treat deformity or restore function in your foot. The extent of your surgery will depend on the severity of your condition.
Toe surgery bone fusion starting from £4,704*
This involves straightening your bent toe (often caused by hammer toe or bunions) and holding it in place with a thin metal wire or medical screw. This helps a treat deformity of your toe and restore function to your foot.
Ankle arthroscopy starting from £5,471*
Also referred to as keyhole surgery, this is often carried out to diagnose and treat ankle pain. During this procedure, your Consultant will make a small incision in your skin through which they can pass a small camera, called an arthroscope, into your ankle. This procedure helps diagnose the cause of ankle pain, and your surgeon may be able to perform certain treatments too.
*This is a guide price for treatment when paying for yourself. The initial consultation and diagnostics are not included in the price. Prices are confirmed in writing after initial consultation with a Consultant Specialist. Aftercare may vary depending on your treatment. Further terms and conditions apply.
