BMI The London Independent Hospital

We are a comprehensive private hospital located close to the City of London, East London and Canary Wharf, within easy access of Essex and the Home Counties, via Tube, bus and car.

We provide more than 30 different medical specialities, including cardiac, trauma & orthopaedics, sports medicine and endoscopy services. We perform complex surgical procedures, supported by our ITU and HDU facilities.

Please note our revised visiting times; 10:00-12:00 for immediate family (unfortunately we can’t accommodate children) and 15:00-21:00.

Located in a leafy square in London E1, BMI The London Independent Hospital is close to The City of London, Docklands, Canary Wharf and Essex. 

By road

M25 Junction 27 (M11/A12/A11), Junction 28 (A12/A11), Junction 29 (A127/A12/A11). 

The A11 starts in London as Bow Road, which leads into Mile End Road. Turn left into White Horse Lane and first right into Eastbury Terrace. The London Independent Hospital is in front of you.

By tube

District or Hammersmith City Line to Stepney Green

By bus

Service 25 (Ilford to Oxford Circus - 24 hour service), 309 Canning Town to Bethnal Green, 205 Mile End to Paddington - 24 Hour Service.
Upon arriving by bus or tube get off at the Stepney Green tube station stop and walk down Beaumont Grove, which is on the opposite side to the Stepney Green tube station. Once on Beaumont Grove the road will bend round to the right and turn into Beaumont Square and you will see the hospital located on your right hand side.This walk will take no longer then 2-4 minutes maximum depending on your walking speed.

By air

London City Airport is about five miles away. Taxi is the easiest mode of transport between the airport and BMI The London Independent Hospital.
