Feedback from patients at BMI The Manor Hospital in Biddenham has shown that 99% of those who received care there would recommend the hospital to their family and friends.
In addition, 98.6% agree that the quality of their nursing care was very good or excellent and 98.1% would apply the same high rating to the standard of their accommodation.
The figures for the independent hospital in Church End were the findings of the independent survey operator Quality Health, which analysed responses of 1130 patients who responded to a questionnaire between 1 January 2017 and 31 December 2017.
Mrs Sarah Reynolds, Consultant Gynaecologist added: “The results of this survey are so gratifying. They are a real testament to all the hard work of the exceptional staff at BMI the Manor Hospital providing excellent care to our patients. Alongside the members of staff who provide that treatment and care, we are very fortunate to rely on a support network we can trust to help us provide the very best patient outcomes.”
The figures have been well received by the 100 staff who work at the hospital and who provide care for NHS-funded patients, insured patients and those who choose to pay for themselves.
Over the past year, the hospital has seen a number of investments and developments. New services launched included providing daylight therapy for skin conditions and a one-stop clinic for breast care, including digital mammography and biopsy.
In 2018, the hospital is looking forward to increased investment in new equipment and services to ensure the very best care for outpatients.
The independent survey also showed high percentage scores across all assessed criteria, with ‘very good’ or ‘excellent’ for physiotherapy 92.6%, pharmacy 92.6%, and catering 95.4%. In addition, 96.2% said that their overall impression of diagnostic imaging was very good or excellent.
