In light of the fact that April 2018 is IBS Awareness Month, The Saxon Clinic, will be running a FREE patient event led by two Specialist Consultants to give you more information on this condition and how to effectively manage it.
Statistics have shown that around one in five people in the UK will experience IBS at some point in their life and around two thirds of the people affected are women. However despite this prevalence of IBS there is often confusion and embarrassment surrounding this condition.
Taking place on Wednesday 2nd May from 6.30pm-7.30pm, the event will be hosted on site at BMI the Saxon Clinic, Chadwick Drive, Milton Keynes MK6 5LR.
Consultant Gastroenterologist, Dr George MacFaul and Consultant Dietician, Mr Gerald Remy, will be providing talks focussing on the symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of IBS, as well as discussing diet management and offering advice on what are the best and worst thing to eat. Although IBS is not a treatable condition you can manage the symptoms by changing your diet and lifestyle.
There will also be an opportunity for you to put your questions forward to the consultants in an open Q&A session.
Please note, spaces for this event are limited and so we recommend to book your place as soon as possible. You can reserve your space online by registering below.
Free parking and refreshments are available.
We very much look forward to welcoming you on the evening.
