Ultrasound & Baby scans

Ultrasound scanners use high frequency wave sounds, undetectable to the human ear, to recreate the image of an organ or muscle to diagnose a condition. It can also be used to monitor a baby inside the womb. It can be used to look at all soft tissue structures and blood vessels and is also thought to support healing damaged tissues through encouraging the production of collagen.

General X-rays

Our departments x-ray units can perform a wide range of examinations, including panoramic images of the teeth and jaw for patients who require dental scans.

Fluoroscopy screening and interventional procedures

We also offer fluoroscopy screening, a technique that uses x-rays to view an organ in motion.

Our team will support you and take you through the process step-by-step, making sure that you are completely happy and comfortable before, during and after your treatment. Examinations appointments are usually 30 minutes however the actual scan will only take 20 minutes. Depending on the scan requirements the length of time for the scan may be longer.
