Paediatric services team at The Saxon Clinic
Many of our Consultants within other specialties will see paediatric patients as part of their practice including Ear Nose and Throat, Urology, Orthopaedic Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Dermatology.
Angela qualified from the University of Hertfordshire in 2010 with a BSc in Children’s Nursing. She has 12 years’ worth of experience as a paediatric Nurse caring for children and supporting them through their recovery.
Angela started her professional career at Great Ormond Street Hospital where her speciality was in Dermatology and Rheumatology. She worked as a very valuable member of the team there for 2 and a half years before going back into general paediatrics for the following 4 years. After taking a course on the High Dependency of the sick child, her focus then moved to care of the ward's most vulnerable young patients.
Angela has experience looking after children with various conditions and health needs including those with diabetes and asthma. As a paediatric nurse, she is used to communicating and interacting with children from various age groups. You will find her to be respectful when dealing with patients and their families, relating with empathy and sensitivity.
