One-Stop Minor Lesions Clinic
BMI The Somerfield Hospital is pleased to provide a One-stop Minor Lesions Clinic. The clinic aims to ensure that if you are concerned about symptoms you are provided with an appointment to be seen at a time to suit you. The clinic offers diagnosis and treatment in outpatients with Consultant Ophthalmologist, Miss Carole Jones. Where necessary, you will have the lesion removed or biopsied under a local anaesthetic in the minor ops theatre. Most people require only one visit to the hospital and leave within an hour of arrival. For people with lesions that require more extensive treatment this can be arranged with you and can be carried out by the same surgical team.
For more information on this clinic including appointment times and prices, please contact Linda Bird, Secretary to Miss Jones on 01622 672837.
