BMI Three Shires Hospital in Northampton is really proud to announce that it is the first BMI Healthcare Hospital to have achieved accreditation with the Workplace Wellbeing Charter.
The workplace and well-being charter recognises a company’s commitment to making the workplace a positive and supportive environment where employees have easy access to resources and activities aimed at improving their overall health and well-being at work.
For The Three Shires Hospital the journey to accreditation began nearly a year ago and reflects the work that has gone on to help highlight Three Shires Hospital as a genuine employer of choice. A wide range of events have been taking place from healthy eating, pilates, meditation, massage, mindfulness, dietician drop in clinics, power walking and outdoor gym sessions. In addition the whole team has worked together to ensure that Wellbeing at Work is a true focus and reflects the importance the hospital places on caring for its staff.
The project has been led by Mary Visser, Director of Clinical Services, and supported by all the leadership team.
Speaking about this achievement Executive Director of the Hospital, Dominic Bath, says “We are delighted to have received this level of recognition for the time and effort that the team put into making our Hospital a great place to be and to work.”
“Staff at BMI Three Shires are all hugely dedicated to their jobs and they work exceptionally hard to ensure our patients receive the best possible care. We want to ensure they are supported in the best way possible to do this and that they can continue to come to work, and leave work happy”.
