Recurrent breakdown - vulnerable athlete

For when that sports injury just wont get better

Have you got one of those annoying sports injuries that just does not seem to get any better? Having a recurrent injury can be frustrating, knowing that you cannot get back to the sport you love because of it.

At Circle Rehabilitation, we can help you with the initial injury, establish the cause and remedy for the recurrent injury and help protect you from further injury and repeated exposures.

Our consultants are experts in sports medicine, skeletal injuries, physiotherapy and biomechanics. They will work with you to ask about your initial injury event, address your sports injury, examine your injured body part and reduce the likelihood of further injury occurrence.

We will help you not only your physical activity goals but also the psychological and mental support that will help get you over this sports injury.

  • Are suffering with a sports injury that keeps coming back
  • Need medical attention for their complaint
  • Have an ongoing injury risk that needs addressing
  • Whose injured body part if causing them pain, including back pain, knee pain, shin splints and neck pain
  • Who want to avoid a subsequent injury

We will work with you to understand how you incurred your current injury, understand the nature of the recurrent injury, examine any predisposing factors that you may have and form a training programme based on your own injury data to help you. We will work with you on your trigger points and assess injury risk so - hopefully - the recurrent injury is gone for good.

Our medically-led Recurrent Breakdown service is medically-led by a team of rehabilitation consultants, who use your own injury data and work with physiotherapy and physical therapist colleagues, psychologists, dietitians and other healthcare professionals to get you back on track.
