Outpatients (no overnight stay)

What do I get for my money?

Dedicated time with a specialist consultant who is focused solely on you and your treatment.

An appointment that fits around your schedule wherever possible.

The chance to have all your concerns listened to and your questions answered.

A clear explanation of your diagnosis, treatment and the next steps, including the price of any tests or scans before you have them.

How much will it cost?

The consultation fee is likely to be between £150-£250. Please note certain consultants/specialties may charge out of this range.

Consultation fees are a separate cost to tests and treatment, and are usually invoiced separately by your consultant.

Sometimes, consultants' fees are invoiced by the hospital, acting as an agent for the consultant. If this happens, we will let you know. Charges for any tests, scans or treatment undertaken in the consulting room will be separately invoiced by the hospital.

How do I pay?

You will pay your consultant for their consultation and the hospital for any tests, scans or treatment on receipt of an invoice. Your consultant will advise you about how you can pay their fee.

You can pay for any tests, scans or treatment by credit/debit card.

Any member of staff will be happy to help you if you have any questions. Alternatively, you can contact us and we will be happy to help.
