BMI Ross Hall Hospital BSGE Provisional Endometriosis Centre

Woman holding a cupWe are delighted to announce that we have achieved status as a British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE) Provisional Endometriosis Centre.

The establishment of Endometriosis Centres comes following worldwide research led by members of the BSGE.

It concluded that patients with Rectovaginal Endometriosis (RVE) should only be treated by gynaecologists with appropriate laparoscopic surgical expertise and their management should be in centres where the outcome can be monitored to enable continuous audit of outcome1.

We would encourage anyone experiencing symptoms of endometriosis such as painful periods, pain with intercourse or excessive bleeding, to find out more about how we can assist them with tailored treatment plans and to contact us to arrange an initial consultation.
