At Circle Health Group, we provide a comprehensive range of general practitioner services for you and your family.

Your private GP will get to know you well, allowing plenty of time to talk through your concerns in detail during each appointment. They will take a proactive approach to your health, providing you and your family with high-quality care.

Your general practitioner will offer personalised and confidential advice, and you will be given a personal health record to help keep track of your wellbeing. Private GP services are offered within a modern, fully equipped hospital with access to a range of specialist diagnostic tests, such as blood tests, x-rays and scans.

Test results are usually available within 48 hours and, if needed, your GP can make a direct referral to consultants and specialists at the hospital.

The private GP service also offers flexibility through convenient appointment times in the early morning, during the evening, and on weekends.

Often, appointments are extended to ensure patients are seen and all concerns properly discussed and explored. Quality of care is not compromised by time constraints.

High-quality diagnostics and quick referrals mean that patients can swiftly progress into treatment, which is crucial with serious conditions. A smooth transition to wider healthcare services, as well as specialist care and facilities will provide additional reassurance in times of illness or anxiety.

There are many reasons why you and your family might seek out the services of a private GP. We offer great quality of care and in-depth consultations, and you will be able to arrange an appointment at a time that suits you. Common reasons people come to our private GPs include:

Flexible appointment times and no waiting lists

A GP will see you at a time that is convenient for you. As well as offering slots earlier and later during the working day, some GPs take appointments on weekends.

Access to diagnostic tests

You will have access to a range of diagnostic tests, with results typically returned within 48 hours. The range of tests available include blood tests, X-rays, CT and MRI scans.

A second opinion

If you are living with a health problem or have symptoms you are unsure about, it can be reassuring to get a second opinion. Our private GPs are highly experienced in general medicine and have the time - as well as access to hospital facilities - to make a thorough diagnosis.

Immediate referrals

Your private GP will be able to refer you to a course of treatment as soon as possible. This can be crucial when serious conditions are found.

GP services at our hospitals feature advanced diagnostic equipment that helps us to provide fast, accurate diagnoses.

Whether you have arthritis or other condition, such as back pain, our team will strive to ensure you experience increased mobility and pain relief through effective treatment.

MRI scans

You private GP will have access to state-of-the-art MRI scanning facilities at the hospital. A Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) uses a strong magnetic field and radio waves to produce detailed images of the inside of your body. It is commonly used to examine the brain, spine, abdomen and pelvis.

CT scans

Our expert radiographers can carry out CT scans without a lengthy waiting period. A CT scan is a special type of X-ray test that takes pictures of cross sections or slices of organs and structures in the body. These are used to create a 3-D picture of the body and are more detailed than a typical X-ray. CT scans are commonly performed on the head and abdomen.

Health screening

Your private GP will be able to offer you a health assessment. This can provide an excellent opportunity for you to understand your health. We have a wide range of state-of-the-art facilities to enables us to provide a thorough examination to understand your health needs and requirements.

Fast referrals

Circle Health Group patients are put at ease by the swift referral process offered as part of our general practitioner services, who have in-hospital access to a broad range of specialists and treatments.

However, it is important to note that a private GP cannot directly refer you to secondary NHS care, but they can provide a letter of recommendation for you to take to your NHS GP, who may concur with their diagnosis and can then refer you to an NHS specialist.
