GP services

Need to see a GP? We offer private surgeries and virtual appointments through our GP services.

We provide a comprehensive range of GP services for you and your whole family.

Your private GP will be a highly qualified general practitioner who will get to know you well, because you will have the time to talk through all your needs and concerns in detail each time you see them. They will take a proactive and complete approach to your health, providing you and your family with high-quality, consistent medical care.

Your private GP will offer personal, confidential advice and you will be given your own personal health record to help you keep track of your wellbeing alongside your doctor. Private GP services are offered within a modern, fully equipped hospital allowing fast access to a range of specialist diagnostic tests, such as blood tests, x-rays and scans.

Our test results are usually available within 48 hours and if needed your GP can make an immediate referral to consultants and specialists at the hospital.

The private GP service also offers flexibility through convenient appointment times with many GPs working early mornings, evenings and even weekends.

Often appointment times are extended to ensure patients are seen and all concerns properly discussed and explored. Quality of care is not compromised by time constraints.

High-quality diagnostics and quick referrals mean that patients can progress with treatment as soon as possible which can be crucial when serious conditions are found. A smooth transition to wider healthcare services, specialist care and facilities will provide extra reassurance in times of illness or anxiety.

There are many reasons why you and your family might seek out the services of a private GP. Besides the quality of care and in-depth consultations, you will be able to arrange an appointment at a time when it suits you. Other reasons include:

Diagnostic tests: You will access to a range of diagnostic tests with the results usually available within 48 hours. The range of tests available includes blood tests, x-rays, CT and MRI scans.

No waiting times: You will be able to see a GP at a time that is convenient to you. This may be early in the morning or late in the afternoon. Some GPs also have appointment slots for the weekend.

Immediate referrals: Your private GP will be able to refer you to a course of treatment as soon as possible. This can be crucial when serious conditions are found.

Our GP services, spread across our hospitals, feature advanced diagnostic equipment that helps us provide a rapid and accurate diagnosis of your problem.

Whether you have arthritis or other condition, such as a back pain, our team will strive to ensure you experience increased mobility and pain relief through effective treatment.

MRI scans

You private GP will have access to state-of-the-art MRI scanning facilities at the hospital. A Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) uses a strong magnetic field and radio waves to produce detailed images of the inside of your body. It is commonly used to examine the brain, spine, abdomen and pelvis.

CT scans

Our expert radiographers can carry out CT scans without a lengthy waiting period. A CT scan is a special type of X-ray test that takes pictures of cross sections or slices of organs and structures in the body. These are used to create a 3-D picture of the body and are more detailed than a typical x-ray. CT scans are commonly performed on the head and abdomen.

Health screening

Your private GP will be able to offer you a health assessment. This can provide an excellent opportunity for you to understand your health. We have a wide range of state-of-the-art facilities to enables us to provide a thorough examination to understand your health needs and requirements.

Virtual appointments with Livi
