Success rates

The HFEA annually publish both national and individual clinic success rates for all licensed treatment centres on their website www.hfea.gov.uk. Further details on BMI Healthcare success rates are enclosed.

Prices and paying for treatment

Our assisted conception units accept private patients and also have contracts with a number of primary care trusts for NHS patients.

Patients are asked to note that payment is due on commencing treatment and can be made by cash, cheque, credit card or the BMI Card.

Our BMI Card

Our BMI Card* is a unique payment plan that allows you to spread the cost of treatment. Available for use at any BMI Healthcare hospital or treatment centre, the BMI card offers interest free credit for an initial period of 6 months with payments thereafter charged at a typical 9.9% APR.

* Our BMI Card is a credit facility offered by BMI Healthcare Limited, 1st Floor, 30 Cannon Street, London, EC4M 6XH. A minimum payment is required from the start of the loan equivalent to 5% of the outstanding balance or £25 whichever is the greater, or the outstanding balance shown in the statement if it is less than £25.

Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA)

The work of each of our fertility units is subject to regular inspections and approval by the HFEA. Treatments such as IVF, ICSI and IUI can only be carried out in centres that are licensed for these purposes and must comply with the regulations set out in the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act (1990).

We are committed to ensuring that the treatment offered in our units is of the highest standards and that it is ethically appropriate.

Patient feedback

Although we strive to provide services of the highest standard in each of our hospitals, there may be times when some of our patients are not satisfied. We ask each patient to complete our independently audited patient satisfaction questionnaire at the end of their treatment as it is through the continuous evaluation of patient comments and suggestions that we are able to measure and improve upon our service.
