A health assessment, also known as a health check, is a thorough check-up of your overall health. Health checks are performed by specialists to help you gain a better understanding of your physical and mental wellbeing.

Health checks often focus on preventative health. They are performed to detect problems in their early stages, as well as risk factors for certain conditions that might run in your family. Health checks can also detect more advanced health problems that haven't yet been discovered, helping you get diagnosed and find the right treatment fast.

Our Advanced Health Assessment is our most popular option. It's a really thorough health check that can give a detailed picture of your overall health, looking at everything from your blood pressure to your body fat percentage, and assessing the function of your heart, kidneys, lungs and more. It checks for signs of sex-specific cancers such as breast cancer and prostate cancer, and can indicate your risk level for heart disease, among other conditions.

Below you'll find information on all the different tests included in our Advanced Health Assessment, as well as details on the other three types of health check we offer at Circle Health Group. If you need help deciding which is right for you, or want to book your health check now, just give us a call.

Our Advanced Health Assessment starts from £690*

The cost of health checks will vary depending on where you have the assessment, which specialists you see and which diagnostics are included. For example, you might want to pay extra to have certain checks that are more relevant to your age or your sex.

We will confirm the cost with you ahead of time so that you know exactly what you'll be paying for before the assessment.

If your employer is part of our HealthFirst employee wellbeing scheme, your health assessment may be covered by this plan. Some private health insurance plans will also cover health checks, but it's best to speak directly to your provider.

*The health assessment is booked and paid for as package should any tests not be completed due to reasons such as equipment failure, partial refunds will not be given instead we can offer it an alternative location.

People choose to have health checks for all sorts of reasons.

Some people see an annual check as a sort of body MOT, which can identify problems early on and stop them getting worse. Others are experiencing symptoms and want the peace of mind that comes with a full-body checkup.

Another common reason that people book health assessments is that they have had health problems in the past, or perhaps they have a family history of health problems, and they want to keep an eye on things.

Health assessments can help you to spot the early signs of conditions including Type 2 diabetes and heart disease, as well as indicating if you are at a higher than usual risk of various conditions.

Once our team has analysed your results, we'll be able to give you tailored advice to help you address and manage any issues highlighted, as well as offering tips on how to stay as healthy as possible in the future. This advice is included in the cost.
