Paediatric cardiology

Paediatric cardiology deals with the diagnosis, investigation and treatment of children with all forms of heart and vascular disease. Paediatric cardiology also deals with structural defects of the heart including rhythm problems, pacemakers and ablation therapy.

Paediatric cardiologists use invasive and interventional methods of investigation and treatment. They also utilise a wide variety of imaging techniques including ultrasound, MRI and CT.
