Personal Profile

Mr Jullien Brady was appointed as Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Bedford Hospital in 2008 and is the Lead Clinician for Gynaecological Oncology (cancer) and Colposcopy (the management of women with abnormal smear tests). In 2018 Mr Brady moved his NHS practice to Luton and Dunstable Hospital.

Mr Brady sits on the main committee of the national governing body for Colposcopy (BSCCP), and is the regional Lead Colposcopist and Quality Assurance Director for the East of England Region.

Mr Brady has an interest in obstetrics and gynaecology which began at medical school, especially that of pre-malignant disease of the cervix and the management of women with abnormal cervical smear tests. This interest continues to this day.

He did broad-based pre-registration house jobs and carried out the majority of his basic training at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington and St Bartholomew’s Hospital for his cancer training.

Mr Brady’s Specialist Registrar training was based in the North Thames region, with University College London as his base teaching hospital, and he finished his training where he began - as a Senior Registrar at The Royal London Hospital.
