Abdurahman El-Awa (Abs) is a Consultant in Oral Surgery. He has extensive experience in Oral Surgery and has a special interest in Dental Implants, Bone Grafting procedures, as well as providing Sedation for nervous dental patients. He is renowned for his calm and patient chairside manner. Mr El-Awa qualified in 2003 in Cairo and moved to the UK in 2006 to embark upon specialist training in Oral Surgery. Since then he has trained in Glasgow Dental School, Glasgow Southern General Hospitals, Sheffield Dental School, Sheffield University Hospitals and Royal Derby Hospitals. Mr El-Awa has completed postgraduate training and specialist clinical training in Oral Surgery in the UK. He is a member of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of Edinburgh and England as well as the international team of implantology. Mr El-Awa is an examiner for the Royal college of surgeons where he examines newly qualified oral surgery specialists.
Mr El-Awa worked as a Consultant Oral Surgeon at Manchester Teaching Hospitals and currently is a Consultant at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals where he teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate dentists and dental students.
