Alistair Slesser is a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon based at the Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Alistair is the co-lead of the Division of Surgery and Urology. He is a core member of the Colorectal cancer MDT and the chair of the abdominal wall reconstruction MDT. His main interest is in diagnosing, managing and operating on colorectal cancer patients. He is an expert in minimally invasive surgery and the majority of his colonic and rectal resections are undertaken with this approach. Alistair also has an interest in complex incisional hernia repairs and has successfully developed that practice at his NHS base.
Alistair manages and operates for most colorectal and general surgery conditions and regularly performs keyhole surgery for inguinal hernia repairs and gallbladder removals.
Alistair is very passionate about his vocation and his patients. He always provides a very meticulous and honest assessment of all his patients and always endeavours to use his wealth of experience to provide a tailored operative approach to ensure the very best outcomes for each individual patient.
