Dr Barber has a national profile in occupational and environmental lung disease and is a Medical Adviser to the Health and Safety Executive. He has an established research track record, having published over fifty peer reviewed publications, and is an honorary Reader at Sheffield University.

Through the Thornbury clinic I offer a sensible and down to earth clinical opinion for patients around the South Yorkshire and Derbyshire area. In addition to managing general respiratory conditions, other common reasons for referral include patients with chronic cough or unexplained symptoms such as breathlessness.
