Personal profile

Dr Baranidharan undertook his undergraduate training in Madras and then postgraduate training in Anaesthesia in Yorkshire.  He spent a year in Canada studying a fellowship in pain management.  Currently he is a consultant in pain management in Leeds Teaching Hositals.

He believes in a multi-modal approach to pain management and is well versed in most minimally invasive interventions in pain management and teaches the same in his workshops for candidates from all over the world.

Dr Baranidharan is currently working on a book covering pain interventions, which is due to be published in 2011.

His research interests include: visceral pain, neuromodulation and neuropathic pain.
