Personal Profile
Nadeem qualified from St. George’s Hospital Medical School, London in 1996 having obtained a BSc (Honours) and MBBS degrees. He completed his senior training on the Guys and Kings rotation, during which time he also undertook research at Brighton University obtaining a Master’s Degree in Orthopaedics. He completed his training in 2012 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Ed). Nadeem then took an additional 1 year Foot & Ankle post CCST fellowship, to super-specialise in Foot & Ankle surgery.
He was appointed to Imperial College Hospitals in 2013 as a trauma surgeon and a foot and ankle surgeon. He also has an honorary contract with Guys Hospital. Nadeem has presented at orthopaedic meetings nationally and internationally. He has published research articles as well as written and edited textbooks. He is passionate about teaching and is jointly running the Imperial Surgical Innovations MSc. He is also an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London (Medical School).
He works almost exclusively with foot and ankle trauma and elective patients. He also has a busy practice in treating fracture patients and has gained wide experience of this with his work at St Mary’s - London’s busiest Major Trauma Centre.
Nadeem's special interests include foot & ankle surgery (bunion surgery; toe deformities; hammer toes; claw toe, arthritis or foot and ankle, tendon problems, ligament injuries), revision foot surgery, lower limb fractures, complex ankle and pilon fractures, foot and calcanium fractures, sports injuries and ankle arthroscopy (anterior & posterior).
