Mr Jalpota has worked in one of the largest teaching hospital in the North East where he was involved in teaching and training of junior doctors. Recently, he moved to Northampton where he is working as Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon in Northampton General Hospital.
Mr Jalpota has experience of 25 years in Ophthalmology which has enabled him to deal with simple to complicated cataract surgery.
After training from Moorfields Eye Hospital, he is one of the few Consultant Ophthalmologists in this country who has specific qualification in Laser Refractive surgery to remove glasses.
He has also had the opportunity to learn different techniques of diagnosing ocular disease with ultrasound under the guidance of well-known Prof K.Ossoinig university of Iowa (USA) who coined the term standardised echography which is used for diagnosing various eye conditions.
