He received vascular training from Yorkshire and London including the King’s College Hospital and St Thomas Hospital, London. He is trained in both open vascular and endovascular techniques.
His special interest includes minimally invasive treatments of varicose veins, aortic aneurysms, intermittent claudication and surgical management of TIA's and stroke prevention. His special interest in vascular surgery includes endovascular and open repair of aortic aneurysms, carotid endarterectomy, peripheral bypass surgery for ischaemic legs and modern treatment of varicose veins and DVT.
- Veins surgery: including both open surgery and minimally invasive treatment of varicose veins.
- General Surgery: open surgical repair of inguinal, umbilical, par-umbilical and epigastric hernia. Excision of lumps & benign skin lesions.
- Arterial surgery: minimal invasive treatments of aortic aneurysms & surgical treatment for leg ulcers, feet ulcers, gangrenous toes, intermittent claudication and stroke prevention. Carotid endarterectomy, femoral endarterectomy, fem-pop bypass and aneurysm repair.
