Mr Guy McWilliams

Since February 2005, Mr McWilliams has been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Calderdale and Huddersfield, providing knee and hip replacement and revision hip surgery.

He also participates in general elective orthopaedic work and is on call for acute trauma. At the Huddersfield Hospital, he offers total hip replacement surgery and revision hip replacement surgery. 

Mr McWilliams has also completed two specialist fellowships in Lower Limb Arthroplasty and is on the teaching faculty (Leeds Hip and Knee course for surgeons).

As of March 2020, on the National Joint Registry, he has performed 2,035 total hip replacement 377 revision hip replacements and 265 total knee replacements.

Mr McWilliams is a member of the Court of Examiners of The Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS - entry examination for surgery) and examines for the exit Orthopaedic examination for the Colleges of Surgeons of London/Glasgow/Edinburgh and Dublin.

His data is available to view on the National Joint Registry (NJR) website. Additionally, his consultant level report is available online. GMC 5 year revalidation December 2021 and compliant with annual NHS appraisal.
