The Endoscopy Unit, also known as The Theodossi GI Investigation Unit, at The Shirley Oaks Hospital in Croydon is home to dedicated endoscopy facilities that include a procedure room, a 3 bay recovery area, decontamination facilities, a consulting room and a patient reception and waiting area.

Located in Shirley Oaks Village on the outskirts of Croydon, our private hospital sees patients from South West London, East Surrey and beyond. People come to use from local areas such as Sutton, Banstead, Coulsdon, Purley and Wallington, as well as Warlingham, Kenley and Chipstead. We also see many patients from further afield. People travel to us to seek the expertise of our experienced consultants and to make the most of our great facilities and compassionate team of healthcare professionals.

The Theodossi GI Investigation Unit is a flagship unit for Circle Health Group as one of the first hospitals to obtain JAG accreditation and includes significant investment in new endoscopy and decontamination equipment. The design, layout, quality of care & safety standards of the unit has been reviewed and approved by the industry standard Joint Advisory Group (JAG) as compliant with all current recommendations for endoscopy units.

The unit is available for self-pay and private patients, as well as NHS London Diagnostic, SPOT contract and Choose & Book patients.
