Personal Profile

Andrew Camilleri has been practising in South Manchester since 1995 as Consultant ENT Surgeon.  He is an examiner for The Royal College of Surgeons and an Honorary Lecturer at The University of Manchester Medical School.

Andrew is on the specialist register at The Royal College of Surgeons of England as an Otorhinolaryngologist  Head & Neck Surgeon and he runs general ENT and childrens clinics in both his NHS and private practices.

His close association with the departments of respiratory medicine, plastic surgery, neurology and audiology over the years have led him to explore and research the interface between these specialties and ENT.

Clinical Interests

His special interest is Otology (diseases of the ear) and he has the largest practice in middle ear surgery (stapedotomy) in the North West.

He teaches ear surgery at national courses and is a member of the British Society of Otology.  Andrew has served on a committee of the British Otology Group and the Council at the Section of Otology Royal Society of Medicine.

Andrews other interests include rhinosinusitis and facial (cosmetic) surgery of the nose and ears.

Andrew is a keen teach to ENT surgeons, audiologists, medical and nursing students as well as general practioners.

Andrew has run a dizziness clinic in the NHS in the last 26 years.

He has many other hobbies and interests including mountaineering, cycling and playing guitar.
