Miss Anita Hazari has been a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at the Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, East Grinstead since 2006. She provides an NHS plastic surgery service to Kent and holds clinics in Canterbury. Privately, she operates at the Chaucer Hospital. As the Plastics Breast Lead 2009-13, Anita has been a key member of the Kent Breast Cancer Network, helping to formulate the breast reconstruction pathway, policy for screening mammogram prior to breast reduction surgery (women ≥ 35yrs) and the use of lipo-filling (fat transfer) in breasts. She is on BAPRAS Council.
Anita takes pride in her caring attitude and her communication skills with patients. She is keen to ensure that patients are fully informed and involved in all aspects of their care. As a female plastic surgeon, she encourages women to choose the ‘natural’ look, instilling confidence in their appearance, and to be comfortable in their own skin. She is very privileged to have earned the trust of several nurses, doctors and professional women as her patients, and they have been delighted with the outcome of surgery.
