Personal profile

I graduated in 1990 from Glasgow University with both an Intercalated BSc in Immonology and MBChB. I then commenced my general medical training at the Southern General Hospital, Glasgow (now the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital).

In 1994 I started Rheumatology training in the West of Scotland and completed Consultant training in 2002 (including 2 periods of maternity leave). I then obtained a Consultant post in 2003 for North Glasgow with clinical responsibilities at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and Stobhill Hospitals.

Clinical Interests

13 years as a Consultant Rheumatologist caring for patients with a broad range of rheumatological conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, connective tissue disease, psoriatric arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, fibromylagia, gout and pseudogout.
