Personal profile

Peter Byrom is an Audiologist with 20 years in the NHS including paediatric work at a children’s hospital and adult work at a regional centre working in the ENT and Audio-Vestibular consultant led clinics. Clinical lead for adult Audiology patients at Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust (2011 – 2017). Clinical lead for Tinnitus (2012-2017) and Balance Lead (2015-2017) at Rotherham NHS FT.

Mr Byrom has been a registered Hearing Aid Dispenser for 12 years. He undertakes regular Noise Induced Hearing Loss Claim Audiometry in collaboration with ENT consultants and the Legal Profession. Faculty at NIHL Symposium Manchester 2016.

Mr Byrom also regularly writes reports for the court. Research undertaken as part of an MSc in Tinnitus Management – gave results in a talk at the international Tinnitus Seminar in Berlin 2014.
