Dr Rachel Healy is a Consultant Dermatologist with a particular interest in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. She is the lead clinician for skin cancer in South London Healthcare NHS Trust and underwent specialist training in dermatological surgery including mohs surgery, laser skin treatments and cosmetic dermatology at St John’s Institute of Dermatology.
She underwent her medical training at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals and her dermatology training at St John’s Institute of Dermatology, the Royal London Hospital and the Royal Free Hospitals. Dr Healy started her medical career as a dentist going on to work as a maxillofacial surgeon prior to studying medicine.
She also has a particular interest in medical education having completed a postgraduate certificate in medical education at the Royal College of Physicians. She enjoys regularly teaching medical students, junior doctors, GPs and other health professionals.
