Dr Freilich is a Consultant in Clinical Neurophysiology and was appointed as service lead at the Luton and Dunstable University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in 2018. He qualified with distinction from Imperial College School of Medicine in 2006 and undertook a wide range of clinical training in general medicine working across London's leading teaching hospitals.

He developed extensive experience across all branches of Neurophysiology having trained at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, The Royal Free Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital. He won the British Society of Clinical Neurophysiology’s prestigious Lord Adrian prize in his first year of specialist training for work on national sedation monitoring across England’s Intensive Care Units. He remains actively involved in research, training and quality improvement projects as well as his own personal professional development.

He has particular expertise in diagnosing and assessing peripheral nerve injuries, nerve entrapment and neuro-muscular diseases. He strives to make the experience of neurophysiological tests as pleasant as possible and ensure that reports are generated rapidly.

Pertinent areas of expertise include; Nerve conduction studies and Electromyography (NCS/EMG), Quantitative EMG (Q-EMG) and Single Fibre EMG (SF-EMG),
