Mr Simon Thompson specialises in all aspects of knee surgery including acute ligament injuries.
He is fellowship trained by the leading knee surgeons in the world from the UK and Australia. He is invited to lecture and present on ligament reconstruction internationally, and his research is award winning. His work on ACL reconstruction has resulted in his research being internationally renowned.
Mr Thompson is one of only two surgeons to be honoured as an international member of the highly and select Australian Knee Society (AKS).
His surgical interests include meniscal injuries, complex ligament reconstruction and joint replacement. He also has a special interest in anterior knee pain in athletes.
