Patient Safety

For information on the steps we are taking to keep our patients safe click here.

Restricting visitors to our hospital

To minimise exposure during the COVID-19 pandemic, visitors are not allowed into the hospital except in exceptional circumstances. This means if someone drives you to the hospital for your appointment they will not be able to accompany you into the hospital.

After your appointment they can collect you but will not be able to come inside of the hospital. All of our hospitals have parking facilities and we would encourage you to re-join them in the car park. If you need additional help a member of the BMI team will support you.

The hospital has 11 consulting rooms and three modern well-equipped operating theatres. The newly installed specialised Stryker theatre is designed to be ergonomic in order to create the optimal operating environment, and can be quickly transitioned to accommodate open as well as minimally invasive procedures. Equipment is ceiling mounted, providing improved efficiency and ergonomics. Images are displayed on multi-function HD flat screen monitors also capable of showing CTs, DVDs or USBs. The theatre is also the first of its kind in Europe to use new shadow-less lamps.
