How does Choose and Book work?
Once you and your GP have agreed that you need to see a consultant for further NHS treatment, you can inform them that you wish to be referred to BMI The Edgbaston Hospital.
Preference for Female Gynaecologists?
If you would prefer to see a female consultant due to religious reasons, prior sexual abuse, or just because of the intimate nature of the examination – we can help.
We believe this is a reasonable request. We also understand that there are many reasons why you would have more of a need for a female consultant than others. As such we have a number of female consultant Gynaecologists that are available to NHS patients at BMI Edgbaston Hospital via Choose and Book.
Medication prescribed for NHS patients receiving treatment or consultations at BMI The Edgbaston Hospital will reflect the medicines included within the Local Health Economy formulary. For details of the formulary content please click here which directly connects to the document. BMI Healthcare sincerely thank the Pharmacy team for their permission to use this reference.
