Mr Sanat Shah is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Manchester Royal Infirmary.
Training and Appointment
Mr Shah underwent postgraduate training in both India and UK, training in both Manchester and Southampton. He completed his AO Fellowship to Germany in 1996, and was appointed to his current Consultant post in 2003.
Mr Shah’s special interest is lower limb arthroplasty, knee arthroscopy and trauma. He has particular interest in hip resurfacing for the management of hip osteoarthritis in young people. He has also obtained sub-speciality experience in hip revision surgery.
Sanat Shah is involved in teaching of medical students at Manchester University.
